RotaOS ("the Service") is operated by RotaOS, Ireland ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@rotaos.app.
RotaOS is a scheduling tool that helps healthcare teams build, share, and manage staff rotas. It includes automated suggestions and advisory warnings about rest patterns and fairness.
RotaOS is a planning aid, not a compliance system. Warnings and checks are advisory only. You and your employer remain solely responsible for ensuring any rota complies with applicable contracts, the Organisation of Working Time Act, the European Working Time Directive, HSE/employer policies, and safe staffing requirements. We make no representation that a rota generated or checked by RotaOS is compliant with any law, contract, or policy.
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and authorised to handle the staffing information you enter.
You agree not to: misuse the Service, attempt to access other users' data, reverse engineer the Service, use it to store patient or clinical data (see §7), or resell it without our written agreement.
Paid plans are billed via our payment processor (Stripe) at the prices shown at purchase, including any free trial terms shown at sign-up. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time via the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next renewal. You are responsible for determining whether the subscription is reclaimable under any scheme (e.g. the Training Support Scheme); we provide receipts but make no guarantee of reimbursement.
You retain ownership of the rota data, names, and settings you enter. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that data solely to provide the Service. Rotas shared via a view-only link are visible to anyone who has the link — you control who you share links with.
RotaOS is for staff scheduling only. You must not enter patient-identifiable information or clinical records. If you do, you do so in breach of these terms and at your own risk.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify features, and may suspend accounts that breach these terms. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to these terms; continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law. Otherwise, the Service is provided "as is"; to the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss arising from staffing decisions made in reliance on the Service, missed shifts, or rota errors.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts for material breach. On termination we will make your data available for export for 30 days, then delete it in the ordinary course.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
